Ernest (Ernie) Stoesz Kehler, 67, passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC on Sunday, October 13, 2013, after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by one daughter, one son, three grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. He was predeceased by his parents David S. and Helen Kehler and five brothers.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2pm, at the Pat Porter Active Living Centre (Steinbach 55Plus), 10 Chrysler Gate, Steinbach, MB. Suddenly on November 16, 2007, at his home in Steinbach, Andrew Kehler passed away at the age of 83.  Andrew worked for Versatile Farm Industries for 15 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers and six sisters: Henry and Mathilda, Helen and Leonard Unger, Nettie and Rev Cornie Peters, Peter and Helen, Bill and Tina, Eva and Jake Schellenberg, Anne and Rev. Jac Doerksen, Tina and Bill Bergen, Frieda and Ed Neufeld, sister-in-law, Sara Isaac, as well as 44 nieces and nephews and their families.

Elizabeth Kehler (nee Doerksen), passed away January 23, 2003 at Bethesda Place in Steinbach, MB. Elizabeth was born on October 11, 1913 at Chortitz, Manitoba.  She married Jacob J.K Kehler on July 16, 1933.

On February 28, 2002, Helene Beischer Kehler left us to be with her Lord and Saviour and her beloved husband Henry, who predeceased her in 1980. Our mother was born and raised on a small farm in the Russell, MB, area. While working at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, she met and married the man she was devoted to for 33 years. Northern Manitoba was home for mom and dad as they raised their children on Manitoba Hydro projects and later settled in Steinbach in their retirement years. Monday, October 21, 1991 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Steinbach, Mrs. Katherina Kehler, aged 91 years, of Steinbach.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2pm from the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Steinbach with Rev. Bill Hildebrandt and Rev. Stan Kehler officiating. Interment will follow in the Steinbach Memorial Cemetery. Friends may pay their last respects at Loewen Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 7-8 pm, and at the church prior to the service. Katharina Stoesz was born May 27, 1893 at Chortitz (Randolph), Manitoba. Her parents were Henry P and Helen Wieler.

She passed away Tuesday, August 1, at 6:45 pm at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach. She reached the age of 96 years, two months and 5 days.

She was baptized in the Chortitzer Church where she stayed a member with a very strong faith.

Agatha Kehler, nee Peters passed away July 28, 1989 in Steinbach, MB. Born Agatha Peters, in Reichenbach, MB on April 16, 1907.   On July 27, 1927, she married Rev. Henrich S. Kehler, who predeceased her on June 18, 1983.

Susanna S Wieler,  born April 27, 1897 in Ebenfeld, MB to Jacob “Berliner” & Elisabeth Kehler, passed away on July 26, 1988 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Henry U. Wieler March 13, 1970.

The funeral service will be held on July 31, 1988 at the Steinbach CMC, with burial at the Steinbach Memorial Cemetery.

On Saturday, June 18, 1983 at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, Rev. Heinrich S. Kehler, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Agatha of Mitchell.

Heinrich Schultz Kehler was born to parents, Jacob K and Elisabeth Kehler on December 14, 1900 in Ebenfeld, now Mitchell, district.  This was also where he grew up and received his education.  After a lengthy illness he passed on to meet his Lord.
