Roy Martin Broesky, age 71, of Steinbach, MB passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, MB.
He is survived his wife of 50 years, Mary; five children and their families: Gail (Vern Toews), Bob (Trish), Val (Jake Kasowan), Mike (Jacqui), Jamie (Clarissa); and 11 grandchildren: Collin (Megan), Kierstin (Matthew Ginter), Sheena, Spencer, Tia, Apollos, Christian, Matthew, Thom, Katie and a new one to arrive later this year! He is also survived by his brother Alvin (Jewel) and his four sisters: Dianne (Roy Enns), Doris (Reuben Enns), Lois (Jim Hamilton), Linda (Ron Koop), and Rose; as well as many uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, friends and many, many of his long-standing customers.
It is with sadness that we say farewell to our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Betty Dueck (nee Kehler).
She slipped away peacefully on Thursday, October 1st, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born on Friday, February 13, 1931 in the R.M. of Hanover to David S. and Helen Kehler. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gustav, her father, mother, one grandson and six brothers.
On Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the age of 63, Harold Enns of Steinbach, passed away at Bethesda Hospital.
Harold leaves to mourn his beloved wife Elinore of 41 years, daughter Melissa and her husband Hatem Kriema and their three children, Nadiya, Sarah, and Zachary; daughter Amanda and her husband Lauren Tougas and their three children, Haylee, Hayden and Harrison. He is also survived by three brothers, two sisters and their families, his parents-in-law Peter H. & Tina Neufeld, four sisters-in-law and their families, one brother-in-law and his family; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Henry B. Kehler passed away at the Bethesda Regional Health Care Centre on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age of 87 years.
Left to remember him are his beloved wife of 59 years, Mathilda (Hiebert), his children: Iris Toews (Ryan), Deby, Wendi Friesen (Paul), Jim (Marge Thiessen) and Nancy Neufeld (Warren); four grandchildren: Carter Friesen, Mitchell Friesen, Andrew Neufeld and Emily Neufeld. On Thursday, October 9, 2014, peacefully and with great courage Gustav gained freedom from his battle with cancer at the age of 89, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach. He was born on December 23, 1924, in the RM of Hanover to Peter F. and Aganetha Dueck as the 4th eldest of ten children. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.
Remaining to cherish Gustav’s memory are his loving wife and soul mate of 63 years, Betty (nee Kehler), two sisters, Anne and Mary (Bill Toews), and one brother, Henry (Dorothy), his children Deborah and Brian Schwark, Theresa and Bill Dyck, Lucille and Bob Rempel, Conrad and Kristine Dueck, his grandchildren, Cory Dyck, Nathan and Sara Dyck with Jagger and Sebastian, Garreth and Giancarla Rempel with Jackson and Charlotte, Jenessa Robinson with Isaiah, Jahel, and Darnell, Dana and Jon Warkentin, Ava Dueck and Nikola Dueck. Eva Schellenberg (nee Kehler), 78, of Steinbach, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Bethesda Hospital. Eva leaves to cherish her memory five children: Lorraine (Charles Koop), Bob (Sylvia), Helen (Bill Briggs), Joan (Norman Poetker), and Tina (Andy Goossen) as well as fifteen grandchildren and their spouses and fourteen great-grandchildren.
