Cornelius (Corny) Stoesz (1941-2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather at the age of 82 at Bethesda Regional Health Center.

He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 57 years; children Doyle (Raquel), Brent, Candace (Jamie); grandchildren Myles, Sienna (Rob), Rio, Noah, Tatianna, Ryder, Samuel, and Spencer; great grandchildren Phaetyn, Ivory and Wilder. Bernard (Ben) W. Friesen (1933-2023)

Ben W. Friesen was born in the R. M. of Hanover on August 23, 1933 to David M. and Katarina Friesen. His early life was filled with challenges, especially when his mother passed away when he was merely two years old. When he was five years old his father remarried, this was quite an adjustment for this young lad.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Helen Kehler Hildebrandt passed away peacefully at Bethesda Place in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Karmen Lacey Peters (2005-2022)

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. Karmen Lacey Peters passed on April 10th, 2022. She was 16 years old and a student at Ste Anne Collegiate.

Karmen was born on June 7th, 2005 at Ste Anne Hospital. From the moment she was born everyone fell in love with her. Her captivating smile brightened everyone’s day while her carefree laugh drew everyone closer to her. Mary Kehler Broesky (1943-2021)

In loving memory and with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Mary Broesky on Saturday, November 13, 2021 with family by her side.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Roy, her parents Henry S. and Agatha Kehler, and her three brothers, Cornelius, Jacob and Peter(Jim).

A Private Celebration of Mary’s Life will be 2:00 pm on Friday November 19, 2021 at Crossings Funeral Care. Followed by the interment in the Steinbach Heritage Cemetery. The family invites you to join them via livestream.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bethesda Foundation.

Helena Kehler Unger (1928-2020)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their mother Helen Unger, on Monday February 17, 2020 at the Bethesda Place Personal Care Home.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 2011. Her parents Reverend Peter S and Katharina Kehler, five brothers; Jacob (stillborn), Andy, Henry, Peter, and Willie, two sisters; Mary Isaac and Eva Schellenberg, brothers-in-law Aaron Isaac, Cornelius Peters, Jake Schellenberg, and sister-in-law Tina Kehler.
