by FOX35 Orlando

A Lake County man has been dedicating his time and money to fix laptops and help families in need — all while he battles cancer.

Larry Kehler, better known as “Fox,” spends his days fixing laptops for people in his community. The project started several months ago when he reached out to a neighborhood Facebook group asking people in the area to give him their old laptops. Then, he fixed the computers and donated them. He had several families with children who were learning virtually reach out to him for help.

“We would like to homeschool, but we have one computer and it’s broken and we have three kids. Can you help?” Kehler said. Continue reading “Lake County man battling cancer fixes computers for families in need”

Ich bin ein Berliner!

Recently in watching their latest movie, Muppets Most Wanted, I chuckled as I heard the line, “Ich bin ein Berliner”. Who’s line is this anyway? The Muppets,  President John F Kennedy, or Jacob Kehler? It prompted a deeper thought, what does it really mean to be a Berliner (Kehler)? Continue reading “Ich bin ein Berliner!”

Randy was born in Ste. Anne, Man. on December 4, 1974. He was a fun loving young boy and brought much joy to his family. He was always a small boy when he was young, and started falling down frequently. At first, we thought that he had a coordination problem. At age seven, randy was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. This didn’t mean much to us at this time because we were ignorant to what this was. Randy found things frustrating at first but soon resigned himself to life that was to go through constant changes.Fortunately, about seven months before Randy was diagnosed, Christ became an integral part of our family. Randy got saved when he was seven, and baptized when he was fourteen. Continue reading “Randall Scott Fehr (1974-1996)”
