Katharina Blatz Kehler (1900-1991)

Monday, October 21, 1991 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Steinbach, Mrs. Katherina Kehler, aged 91 years, of Steinbach.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2pm from the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Steinbach with Rev. Bill Hildebrandt and Rev. Stan Kehler officiating. Interment will follow in the Steinbach Memorial Cemetery. Friends may pay their last respects at Loewen Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 7-8 pm, and at the church prior to the service. Rayfield Glen Ratzlaff (1930-1983)

Rayfield Glen Ratzlaff, passed away October 21, 1983.

Denis Doerksen Kehler (1935-1978)

Suddenly October 2, 1978 at a hospital in Asuncion, Paraguay, Denis Kehler, age 42, of Colony Bergthal, Paraguay, formerly of Manitoba.

Funeral services were held October 4 in Colony Bergthal and a memorial service was held in the Steinbach Chortitzer Church on October 22, 1978.

Mr. Kehler, who was married to the former Helena Pries, is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters.

Also, his parents Jacob & Elizabeth Kehler of Elmdale Drive, Steinbach, one grandchild and one son-in-law. He was predeceased by his daughter Carol in 1958. Continue reading “Denis Doerksen Kehler (1935-1978)”

David S. Kehler (1898 -1963)

Suddenly on Sunday, October 27, 1963 at his residence Mr. David S. Kehler, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Helen Kehler of Steinbach, Manitoba.

Funeral service at 2 p.m.Thursday, October 31, 1963 in the Chortitzer Church in Steinbach. Besides his wife Mr. Kehler is survived by 8 sons, 3 daughters and 24 grandchildren.

Interment in the Steinbach cemetery.
