Edgar’s Diner

Who doesn’t have a memory from the famous Edgar’s Diner?  Today, on the 4th anniversary of his passing, we honour Edgar Stoesz Kehler, whose Berliner personality ignited conversation and laughter, and who loved to serve up a bowl of Borscht, a Husky Burger or a tasty veal cutlet.

  1. Working with Edgar in his Husky House during late 50’s was my pleasure and taught me the love to cook. I always admired Edgar’s insistence on absolute cleanliness in everything that was done in his establishment, and his love for people and greeting every person to set foot in his door.

  2. The smiles of Edgar and Helen and the love I felt when I dined at the restaurant will always be remembered in my heart. The food was always delicious and the service very personal . Thank you Helen for the support you were to Edgar .

  3. Who will ever forget this great couple who served so many people, good food and very friendly, may Edgar rest in peace.
