Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 3/4 cups pure (or solid) pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 2/3 cups evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all the above together well and pour into unbaked deep dish pie shell. (use the recipe on the Tender flake box, if you wish)
  2. Bake in pre heated 400F oven for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 and continue to bake for 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Note: The flavor intensifies as it sits. Best served at room temperature with a generous amount of whipped cream.
