The Seine River School Division recently awarded one of their students, Kaylee Hope Peters, with the coveted Middle Years Citizenship Award.  Kaylee has also been nominated as their only representative at the Manitoba Provincial Citizenship Award, which will be formally presented in April 2013.

“I am really honored that I received this award and that I have been nominated for the Provincial award.” says Kaylee.

It’s been a particularly exciting year for their family, as her mother, Karin (Kehler) Peters, graduated and finished her Educational Assistant course, as well. Karin has spent many days and nights learning and studying to finish this course at Seine River. Karin quotes “with the loving support of her family, it helped to complete her course”

Congratulations, ladies!

Kaylee Peters, 13, is the daughter of Karin (Kehler) & Menno Peters, and the granddaughter of Benjamin & Martha Kehler, Steinbach, MB.

  3. Dear Kaylee,

You bring much honor and pride to the Kehler family. Giving of yourself to help others less fortunate in your community is the greatest “gift” you can give your fellow man.

    Keep up the great work.
