The Chortitz Church Heritage Committee is please to announce “Christmas in Chortitz”. You are invited to attend this festive event in celebration of Christ’s birth. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 7 PM in Randolph, Manitoba.

We attended the Christmas at Chortitz on Saturday evening and we are so happy we did. It was a beautiful experience. Carole & I neither speak or understand High German but I remember some of the songs from our Kehler Christmas Family Gatherings and the thoughts of my Dad (Ken) and his brothers and sisters growing up and attending this very church and singing those Christmas carols was special. We especially enjoyed the last song when the lights were turned off and the kerosene lamps were lit providing the only light. The Carillon Singers were wonderful and the people we spoke to were very friendly. Thank you so much to make this such a wonderful memory that we will truly cherish, this made our Christmas !
