Jacob Stoesz Kehler

It is with deepest sorrow that our family announces the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jacob (Stoesz) Kehler, age 75 years of Steinbach, Manitoba. Jake is survived by his wife Helen of 52 years; one daughter Carol Penner (Jim)  and two sons Murray (Joanne) and Wayne (Sandi) and their families.

Dad was born June 14, 1924. Growing up on a farm, he learned many skills. He ventured out into the business world after working for C.T. Loewen’s and the McArthur Dam in Great Falls. He started and owned Jake’s Husky for 35 years. (more…)

Suddenly on March 6, 2000 Dan passed away in Brandon, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his mother, Rosemary and sister Darlene. Dan is survived by his three daughters, Crystal, Tammy and Bonnie; grandchildren, Breanna & Matthew; father, Frank; sister Bonnie; brothers, Jim, John and Steve and their families. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one half hour prior to the service.
