Diedrich W. Dueck

Peacefully May 28, 1986 at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, Diedrich W. Dueck, aged 73 years went home to be with his Lord and Saviour.

Besides his wife Elizabeth, Mr. Dueck leaves to cherish his memory, five daughters Martha and John Neufeld of New Bothwell, Laverna and Walter Griffith of Winnipeg, Bertha and Ray Laing of Steinbach, Norma and Keith Roulston of Winnipeg, Rhonda and Donald Harms of Steinbach; two sons Peter and Phyllis Dueck of Winnipeg; Edwin of Mission, BC; 15 grandchildren and four great-grand children; (more…)

Jakob G. Stoesz

Wednesday, May 28, 1986, at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, Jakob G Stoesz, aged 95 years, beloved husband of Katharina of Steinbach..

Funeral service was held Monday, June 2, 2PM from the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Steinbach with Rev. Bill Hildebrandt and Rev. John Stoesz officiating.  Interment followed in the Niverville Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Bethesda Hospital Foundation, Box 939 Steinbach, MB R0A 2A0.

Pallbearers for the service were Henry Stoesz, Jacob Stoesz, Abe Friesen, Ed Hiebert, Glen Kehler and Ben Unger. (more…)
