Walter Kehler of Delta, BC, formerly of North Vancouver, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2003 at age 79, with his beloved wife Joan and daughters at his side.
Predeceased by his son Wayne in 1980; his parents,John S. and Annie Kehler; brother Henry and Helen; and sister Edna.He is survived by his loving wife Joan of 49 years; grandsons, Michael and Aaron Kehler; daughters, Darlene (Harold) Kruse, and children Gillian, Kevin and Allena of Edmonton, AB; Lee-Ann (Dave) Blair of Vancouver, BC; brothers, John and Hetty of Surrey, BC, Glen and Kathie, Rueben and Tina of Winnipeg, MB, Ken and Marg of Patricia Beach, MB, Ron and Helga of Oakbank, MB, Peter and Judy of Calgary, AB ; sisters, Violet Doerksen and Joyce and Cornie Stoesz of Steinbach, MB.
Walter was born in 1923 at Frobisher, SK and moved with his parents to Steinbach in 1930. In 1946, Walter moved to Vancouver where he made his home, and later raised their family.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 29th, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the Arbor Chapel at Valley View Memorial Gardens (14660-72nd Avenue, Surrey), conducted by brother Peter. Interment to follow.
Miss ya grandpa think about ya all the time. You got two great grandkids now! RIP.
